**Job Description** About the role**
This thrilling opportunity is available for a proactive and energetic Employment Consultant, who can be based in either Hobart or Launceston. Whether you're seeking a part-time or full-time position, your role will involve connecting with workers recovering from workplace injuries and potential employers to help them secure meaningful employment in the open labor market.

On a daily basis, you will:

- Empower, coach, and inspire your clients to pursue meaningful work while enhancing their job-seeking skills.
- Identify suitable employment opportunities that align with your clients' skills and abilities.
- Assist clients in accessing paid placement opportunities.
- Conduct labor market research, pinpoint employment gaps, and build a network of employers to create on-the-job training and employment options for your clients through host placements and paid roles.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in the workers' compensation system while promoting the skills and talents of individual job seekers to appropriate employers.
- Support and guide your clients throughout their job-seeking journey within a structured framework.

**Qualifications** About you**

- Experience in employment services, recruitment, and/or marketing
- Familiarity with Worker’s Compensation and Injury Management, or a willingness to learn
- Understanding of the local labor market
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Capacity to multitask with excellent time management abilities
- A proactive attitude, taking pride in delivering quality work
- A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and the ability to travel
