As our new Dam Discipline Lead in our Land and Water Business, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists. You will ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Dams Projects - from business cases, dam safety reviews, comprehensive risk assessments and engineering design of earth and concrete dams.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do:

- Provide leadership in growing capability within the Queensland dams team by managing, motivating, coordinating and mentoring staff
- Grow the Aurecon brand within the Queensland dams market
- Grow the Queensland dams business into a successful and self-sustaining business
- Manage opportunities through the entire project life cycle (lead, proposal, commission, and close out) in accordance with the Aurecon methodology
- Building and maintaining relationships with our target clients through successful Client engagement and project delivery
- Drive connectivity between the Queensland dams business and the greater Aurecon business
- Manage work-sharing, both nationally and internationally, to successfully deliver projects and achieve business objectives.

- A drive to grow a successful and self-sustaining dams’ business
- Proven technical engineering skill and knowledge of policy and regulatory requirements
- Qualifications such as Chartered Professional Engineer status and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland status
- Experience in the management of medium to large scale projects
- Experience in the management of multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Ability to work collaboratively at both internally within Aurecon and with our clients in a client-facing role.
