**Experienced Disability Support Worker with AUSLAN Experience**

We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker with **AUSLAN** proficiency to join our team.

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for an experienced **Female Disability Support Worker** who is fluent in AUSLAN to provide person-centered care to our Deaf and Hard of hearing clients. This role is all about empowering, supporting, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
✨ Communicating effectively using AUSLAN with Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients
✨ Assisting with high-quality personal care and support for daily activities
✨ Supporting clients to engage in social & community activities
✨ Helping with meal preparation & light household duties
✨ Encouraging independence and self-confidence
✨ Keeping accurate records & reporting as required
✨ Working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

**Requirements**:
✔Minimum of 2 years+ of experience as a Disability Support Worker.
✔Proficiency in AUSLAN (Certification preferred but not mandatory).
✔Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
✔Current First Aid and CPR certification.
✔NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
✔Valid Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
✔Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy.
✔Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Sign Language: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- AUSLAN (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
