Dental Assistant

**Job Title: Dental Assistant - Part-Time (3 Days a Week)**
**Location: Brunswick, Melbourne**
**Position: Permanent Part-Time**

With great public transport access and a supportive team atmosphere, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join us for 3 days a week.

**What We’re Looking For**:
We’re seeking a _Dental Assistant_ with at least 2 years of experience in the field who is eager to bring their skills to our practice. If you’re passionate about patient care, enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic team, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to meet you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting practitioners during procedures and providing chairside support
- Sterilising and preparing instruments
- Managing patient records and ensuring smooth patient flow
- Assisting with administrative duties, including appointment scheduling and patient recalls
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Providing a friendly and comforting experience for patients

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Experience with Praktica software is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude towards patient care
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Availability to work 3 days a week (specific days to be discussed)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

- Brunswick, VIC 3056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
