Part-Time Awards & Events Officer at a
Your new company

A large member-based organisation located in Bruce is looking for a Part-Time Awards & Events Officer to fulfil a six-month contract. You’ll represent the construction industry and play a big part in facilitating innovative, educative, and exciting conferences and events.

Your new role

As the Awards and Events Officer, you’ll be responsible for delivering on 6 annual awards and several monthly chapter events. This role will see you develop and deliver marketing collateral for the organisation’s website and social channels and partake in end-to-end event processes.

This role includes:

- Liaise with each chapter representative, University and TAFE to manage the education/student awards across Australia - Process nominations, certificates, and prizes as required.
- Manage the Awards website (WIX), updates, relevant articles, and notices Manage all aspects of the Award Dinners, including attending all events, marketing, event planning and budgeting.
- Develop and monitor the National budget and monitor Chapter’s adherence to their budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

If you specialise in Event Management and Marketing, we would love to hear from you To be successful in this position, you’ll be confident and accountable in managing all Awards, Events and stakeholders/vendors involved from the initial registration to post event activities and processes. Previous experience with a member-based organisation is advantageous.

Specific skills/qualifications:

- The ability to deliver on large scale Conferencing & Events on time, in full and to an allocated budget.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with several internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in liaising with vendors and developing Business Event Orders to assist in coordinating event execution.
- Ability to develop and distribute effective marketing collateral
