**Description**:
The 3IC is an experienced Senior Educator who works in consultation with the Centre Director and the Assistant Director in supporting the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The 3IC provides additional support and leadership under the direction of the Centre Director and Assistant Director in the development of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team. This role has the best of both worlds, working with the children to help support their own journey and working alongside a team where you can support and mentor.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
- State-relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening
- Current Child Protection Training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities, and managing time effectively.

Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar or Lead Educator role
- Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Educa (or similar equivalent platforms)
- Intermediate-level experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
