**About the business and the role**

The role would be a leading hand apprentice working directly with out director or another foreman gaining first hand experience and training.

**Point of difference**

We focus on career development with our apprentices understanding the value of teaching skills to apprentices equating to them becoming more valuable as part of the team.

All apprentices are hands on across all construction elements and we also use temporary labor hire to ensure any labor heavy weeks we have assistance.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

**Complete guided construction tasks such as and not limited to**:

- stonework
- Carpentry
- decking, pergolas, timber features
- retaining walls Masonry/timber
- building outdoor kitchens
- garden lighting
- Concreting
- Planting, soils. drainage
- Irrigation
- pool renovations

These are some of the main areas, but as has been said before we cover all aspects of residential landscape construction.

**Things that are highly regarded**:

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Current drivers license and own vehicle
- Previous experience with power tools and construction techniques
- All round well mannered and polite to obtain company image
- Previous landscape construction experience
- Good health to be able to cope with such a physical job

**Salary**: $41,600.00 - $60,000.00 per year
