**After Hours Coordinator - WORK FROM HOME**

Morcare Services has been established for over 25 years and are a leading aged & disability care provider based in the Outer East providing support to clients located in Victoria. Morcare Services are committed to service excellence and making a positive difference to our clients to enhance their quality of life.

Morcare Services are looking for a customer focused individual to add to our existing team of After-Hours staff. An After-Hours Coordinator ensures that both Clients and Support Workers receive continuous and responsive phone support as needed, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The After-Hours Coordinator role offers the flexibility of working from home and is responsible for answering and responding to phone based queries from both our Clients and team of Support Workers.

**Applicants based in Melbourne Metropolitan will only be considered.**
We are looking for a committed team member with availability to work “after hours” when the office is closed:

- **Fridays 5pm until Monday morning at 9am one or two weekends per month, and;**:

- ** Weeknights Monday 5pm - Friday 9am at least one week per month.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Working during closed office hours to support our Clients and Support Workers.
- Co-ordinating and rostering care for our Clients in the Carelink data base
- Providing advice, guidance & support to our Support Workers
- Maintaining on-call records

**Skills / Experience**
- Professional phone etiquette with problem solving skills required
- Knowledge or suitable experience in disability/aged care sector preferred
- Background in administration and/or rostering experience or similar
- Ability to work independently from home & maintain confidentiality of information
- Experience utilising a Carelink database (preferred)
- Ability to complete complex priorities or tasks, remaining calm and focused & responsive to client’s needs
