Driver for Home Grocery Delivery

A major Melbourne Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable company headquartered in East Melbourne is looking for a Home Grocery Delivery Driver to join our growing team.

We have been ethically sourcing fresh fruits and vegetables for our devoted customers for over 40 years.

We are a market leading provider of fruit and vegetables in Victoria, thanks to our combined family experience and long-standing customer ties in the hotel industry.

We are a wholesale fruit and vegetable company committed to obtaining high-quality produce for our customers. We are HACCP quality assured and offer a variety of shipping alternatives to our customers.

We use our company-owned refrigerated fleet to distribute vegetables six days a week. Our delivery drivers prepare their own orders, load them onto their trucks, and deliver them.

We work directly with farmers and producers to guarantee that your products are as fresh as possible when they arrive at your door. We go above and above to ensure that our clients only receive the best by enforcing stringent supply procedures and paying close attention to detail.

Our drivers have complete quality control from start to finish, ensuring that the client is completely satisfied with our products and services.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday Start: 12am - 2am, Finish: 8am - 10am

Saturday: Start: 4am Finish: 8am

Your primary duties will be to:
Loading and unloading of delivery trucks
Deliver customer orders on a set schedule.
Other responsibilities as a team member may include collaborating with other team members to assist with stock management and other warehouse chores as needed.

To join our team, you must have the following skills:
Excellent driving abilities
Excellent customer service abilities
Reliable and capable of working both as a team and alone
Working hard and being able to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere
Learn to read and follow directions
Capable of carrying big objects (20kg) *EXPERIENCE WITH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES IS REQUIRED

Experience with warehouse pick-and-packing and delivery driving is required.

Truck, fuel and tolls are included.

With a prompt start.

**Requirements**:
Driver's licence (auto or manual)
Provide your own transportation to the depot Australian Business Number (ABN)
Experience with fruits and vegetables
Driving experience in medium to large vehicles
Can-do spirit

**Salary**: $69,000.00 - $80,644.00 per year
