Jolly Kids Early Learning Centre is looking for Strong educators, including Room Leaders to join our team.
- work in collaboration with the Educational Leader to deliver a program suitable for the needs of every child in the service.
- be responsible for documenting children's development as part of a cycle of learning.
- liaise with families and local community groups to deliver individualised care and education for every child that is context-relevant to the children in our community.
- ensure the safety, and well-being of every child, including being a strong advocate of child safe standards
- ensure the environment, teaching strategies and experiences allow for the participation of every child
- join “our commitment to play our part” in keeping children safe from all harm
- Lead and inspire a small group of educators in a specific care environment.
- Lead the care environment with an emerging and play-based curriculum

Skills & Experience
- Qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, ACECQA Recognised)
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development for 0-6-year old's
- Knowledge of current pedagogies in Early Childhood Education
- Adept with establishing and building relationships with parents and families
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and NQF
- Ability to develop warm and meaningful relationships with children
- Self-motivated team member, with maturity and initiative
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- And most importantly, ability to assess the most appropriate course of action in response to a current notification in the context of the child's vulnerability, risk of harm and the child protection history.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: $53,239.14 - $92,721.29 per year
