Kelly Sports has been providing a range of curricular and extracurricular sporting programs for children in Australia since 1994. **The Role** As the 2IC you will have varied responsibilities, such as assisting the Coordinator in managing programs, incident reporting writing and purchasing supplies, along with supporting them with compliance related tasks. Most of the time you'll be delivering activities, on a weekly basis, to school age children, working alongside Educators. The position is based at our client's school in Eynesbury, Victoria. You'll act as a Responsible Person when required, including providing guidance to people on placement, and overall delivering a fun and interesting program, working directly with children, in Before School and After School Care Programs as well as during holiday programs. The hours that the 2IC is required at the service are: Monday - Friday Before school hours: 6.30am to 8.35am After school hours: 2.45pm to 6.00pm Check out our Kelly Club videos: **You will**: - Develop, plan and implement a stimulating, educational child care program - Maintain a child safe environment for all children - Assist children in routine tasks - Manage and develop your team - Communicate effectively with staff, families and children - Complete general administrative tasks - Perform other duties as required **Skills and Experience** - Diploma / Bachelors qualified within Childhood or Education studies or other ACECQA recognised qualification or already working towards a qualification. - Valid Working with Children Check (before commencing) - Current First Aid HLTAID004, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management training (before commencing) - Current child protection training and strong knowledge of child safe standards - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Strong knowledge of National Regulations - Good understanding of My Time Our Place learning framework **About You** Kelly Club team members are individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to pursue their dreams by continuing their growth in the Education sector. You are qualified, or currently undertaking a relevant qualification, have experience in running programs with school aged children and supervisory experience in any sector. For example, OSHC, school teaching, school camp programs, sporting programs, or the like. Most importantly, you are personable, enthusiastic, driven, ambitious, and have the natural ability to communicate and engage with people. You're also well organised and can prioritise your administration, childcare and employee supervisory responsibilities. You will demonstrate an ability to deliver a safe, caring and engaging program for primary aged boys and girls, motivating them to join in and have fun. At the same time, you have the ability to discern what things need to be documented and reported in order to ensure compliance.
