**The role**

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Management branch.

As a Data Analyst in our Smarter Data Program area, you’ll be part of a team responsible for:
**Mandatory skills/ experience required**:

- Be tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, data analysis/analytics, statistics, or similar; or significant relevant experience
- Is highly skilled in using a variety of tools, languages, and technical knowledge to research, extract, analyse, and interpret data and results with a strong commitment to quality assurance, reusability, and curation of data sources and solutions, including writing complex SQL code for Teradata
- Able to communicate analytical approaches and negotiate proficiently with internal and external clients
- Exercises sound judgment to provide detailed technical, professional, and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems and is able to assist in strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development
