Fleet Allocator

**South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane.**

It is an exciting time to join our business as we continue along our journey of ongoing expansion and growth. We are currently hiring for experienced two Transport Allocator.

In fulfilling this position you can expect to work an 8-9 hour shift, Monday to Friday. Any shifts completed on weekends/public holidays will be paid in addition to the weekly salary.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coodinate FCL movements of import and export containers (we have that fall under specific divisions and our goal is to have our allocators trained across all 5 key areas).
- Allocate trucks and liaiase with drivers.
- Ensure container slot bookings are checked and correct (relevant to wharf/container parks).
- De-hiring of containers/
- Timely and accurate updating of our transport management system.
- Optimise fleet operatinons.
- Other duties as when required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Have a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Microsoft Excel and Outlook with an ability to learn and understand new programs.

**Basic Job Requirements**:

- A minimum, 1-2 years' experience as an Allocator;
- 1-Stop and Container Chan experience is essential;
- Experience using Translogics, Hutchison Port and Next Gen desirable;
- Accurate and timely data entry;
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management and customer service skills;
- Organised, self-motivated, and problem solver, and
- Ability to work within a team environment.
