**The Facility**:
This is a 165 bed (level 1) Tertiary Teaching Hospital that provides a range of Acute Services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, General Medicine and Surgery, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Dialysis, Mental Health (Inpatient and community services) and a range of Ambulatory Services. The Hospital is affiliated with Universities for the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate Medical, Nursing and Allied Health education. Affiliations also exist for clinical placement and training.

The Emergency Department is the regional trauma centre and is supported by excellent surgical, medical, obstetric, ICU and retrieval services. The ED receives around 35,000 presentations per annum (20% paediatric) with an admission rate of 16 - 18 %.

**The Role**:

- ** Our client is **looking for a Staff Specialist Emergency Physician and a Director of Emergency Medicine Training (DEMT) to join the team.
- The annual fulltime base salary offered for this position **before allowances** is $288,848 - $397,170. Plus Regional Attraction Allowances.

**The Requirements**:
Current Relevant registration with APHRA (or ability to gain registration)
- Fellowship of Australian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or have been deemed Substantially Comparable by ACEM.
- Experience as an Emergency Physician
- New Zealand FACEM or Senior Registrar about to get the FACEM willing to come for 12 months or more.
