Disability Support Worker

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker who lives in and around the Thirlmere area to support a 44 year-old man with an Acquired Brain Injury to remain living independently within his home.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Assistance with personal care tasks
- Assistance with therapy tasks
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Community participation

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

What you need:

- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current driver's license and your own car
- NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
- Working with Children Check for paid work or willing to obtain (mandatory)

Days/Hours

Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 4pm
