**About The Role**

We are a cute and cosy cafe in Mosman, with a small friendly team and wonderful customers We're looking for a cafe manager who can manage the day-to-day, look after our team and lead the way in providing exceptional customer service. Our owner pops in throughout the week, but the responsibility of the cafe is all yours..

In the role of **Café Manager,** your role will include:

- Manage the execution of our daily operations and running of the cafe including staff management, cleanliness and presentation, ordering and inventory, new menu suggestions, training and rosters
- Manage the planning and execution of rosters and scheduling
- Lead by example and drive exceptional customer service and experience
- Manage our people related tasks including recruitment, training and development, coaching, feedback and performance management
- Deliver on set sales budgets and manage labour spend, stock levels and other controllable expenses
- Build morale and team spirit by fostering a work environment where team member input is encouraged and valued
- Ensure all hygiene and service standards are upheld at all times
- Manage, prepare and serve food and beverages to the highest standard

**About You**

To be successful in the role of **Café Manager**, you will have:

- Previous cafe management experience of minimum 2 years is essential
- Previous barista experience of minimum 2 years is essential
- Ability to work open shifts (5.30am), at least one weekend day, and the flexibility to cover sick leave is essential
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to lead and effectively communicate with a team
- Energetic, positive and customer focused with can-do attitude
- Entrepreneurial, with the desire to run this cafe like it's your own, increase sales, come up with new menu ideas and additional revenue streams

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent (or can be part time if that suits your lifestyle)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year (full time, based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

- Morning shift (5.30am start)
- Day shift (4pm finish)
- Work at least one weekend shift (5.30am start)
- No evening work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
