We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales & Merchandising to join Samsung Electronics Australia, where you will lead the national retail execution and sales function across all channels.
You will play a critical role in leading and directing the State Managers, Merchandisers and Training Managers to bring the sales and retail strategy to life in-store, while developing advocacy and brand preference within retailers whilst driving sell-out across all retailers and assist with sell-in via proprietor owned retailers.
Role and Responsibilities- Responsible for the delivery of the Consumer Electronics sell out sales target nationally- Bringing the Retail Strategy to life through stand out store execution- Develop the respective states customers and business, providing assistance to dealers through planning sales levels in line with Samsung Australia’s management plan- Development and execution of physical and e-learning retail training strategy- Create and deploy training and product information to RSP’s to support the execution of new product launches- Optimise inventory management through the execution of strategies to support key metrics of dead inventory and slow run rate SKU’s- Point of escalation for all field related matters both internally and externally
Skills and Qualifications- Strong experience in retail sales leadership, with a proven track record managing large, dispersed national teams- Demonstrated success in leading field execution, sales operations, and training across premium consumer electronics or FMCG- Experience managing multiple layers of leadership, including state and area managers, merchandisers, and training teams- Strong capability in building and scaling sales and execution strategies aligned with business goals- Previous accountability for national sales targets, retail program ROI, and partner engagement at executive level
