**An exciting opportunity exists for Advanced Child Protection Practitioners - Case Contracting, to join our dedicated Child Protection team in Preston.**

**2 positions available - 1 x Ongoing fulltime, 1 x Fixed term fulltime**

**THE ROLE**

The North Division Child Protection Branch prides itself on its commitment to making children safe, supporting stronger families, and protecting future generations. Our specialist practitioners located within our Preston office service a diverse client base and are dedicated to delivering high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

We offer a supportive team approach, regular supervision, a suite of expert training, access to Employee Assistance Program and a focus on employee health and wellbeing.

The Advanced Child Protection Practitioner receives and assesses reports of alleged abuse and neglect of children and young people. They undertake investigations and develop plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. This may include taking matters to court.
- Mandatory Qualifications
- A valid driver's licence.
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card.
