Warehouse / Stores

**The factory works 9.5 hours per day Tuesday to Friday (07:00 - 17:15) with every Monday off.**

**THE COMPANY**:
Manufacturer of snack foods located at Campsie.

**THE POSITION**:
This position is part of the manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the management of stock (food products) between warehouses, assist loading trucks, pick and pack orders and general warehouse cleaning duties.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain storage areas of flavours and cartons, i.e put items away in their allocation bays, clean up rubbish and dirt/dust
- Assist with unloading trucks (receiving incoming goods) - transferring pallets of stock to their allocated areas
- Wrapping pallets using pallet wrapper and transferring them to the warehouse
- Transfer pallets of ingredients/products between warehouses & factory
- Relieve delivery drivers if they are away (MR licence required to drive our trucks)
- Assist warehouse staff to pick & pack orders
- Assist warehouse staff to load trucks with outgoing pallets of finished product
- Assist with the maintenance of the bin area, driveway and rear storage area
- Assist with washing buckets/tubs/tools
- Clean around the snack packing area i.e sweep up flavours and product which has fallen on the ground
- Clean machinery which is not in use
- Clean oil spills if they occur

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a forklift licence - Gas & electric
- Experience using a pallet wrapper, electric & manual pallet jack & scissor lift
- ** MR Licence, highly desirable**:

- Have a good eye for detail
- Ability to spot what needs to be done, not wait to be told what needs to be done
- Enthusiastic and self motivated
- Physically fit to be on your feet all day, walking around
- Able to work with and around staff
- Be able to communicate well
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills

**DAYS/HOURS**:4 days per week (Tues - Fri) working hours 7.00 am - 5.15 pm**

**SALARY**: $30.00/hour + Super
