Standard Baker

**About us**

Darra Bakehouse is well established bakery in Darra, QLD 4076. We are currently seeking passionate, talented and hard-working Baker to join our growing team and support our rapidly growing business.

**Duties/Tasks**

You will need to possess the following:
1. **Baking**: Prepare a diverse range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other items, following Saigon Bakehouse's recipes and quality specifications.

2. **Dough Preparation**: Mix and knead dough, as well as prepare batters and fillings, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes.

3. **Baking Techniques**: Employ various baking techniques to achieve optimal texture, flavor, and appearance in all baked goods.

4. **Quality Control**:Conduct quality checks on ingredients, finished products, and storage to ensure freshness and maintain quality standards.

5. **Hygiene and Safety**: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe workspace, including proper handling and storage of food products.

6. **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other bakery staff to coordinate production schedules and contribute to a collaborative and efficient working environment.

7. **Customer Interaction**: Interact with customers, provide product information, and offer excellent customer service when necessary.

**About you**

All applicants must have the following:

- A love for baking
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Cert III in Baking / Patisserie
- Ability to work in a fast paced/flexible environment
- The ability to be punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Have own transport
- Passion and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, delegation and time-management skills

**Salary**: Up to $35.00 per hour
