We are looking for an experienced dual qualified QA / QC Coating and Welding Inspector to join our Perth based office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work in accordance with client project management systems
- Ensure required documentation/records are generated and maintained
- provide input to project quality management reports
- Liaise with inter-functional departments, project personnel and contractors and subcontractors
- Carry out specific quality surveillance activities as stipulated within client project scope to support audit and review activities
- Ensure contractor and subcontractors are working in accordance with approved project procedures and specifications / data sheets

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience within the oil, gas, mining infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrated competence to read and understand contract and shop drawings, material compliance certificates, welding and coating inspection reports, calibration reports, including the assessment of compliance of these documents with specification criteria
- Ability to produce concise inspection reports in a suitable time frame.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and possess a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, codes, standards and procedures including HSE management practices
- Good knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures
- Computer literacy including excel and quality reporting
- Flexible and adaptable in a challenging environment
- Must be able to pass full Medical and DAS
- Driver's License

**To be success in this role you must hold the following qualifications**
- Min CSWIP3 or Cert 10 - AS. 1796/2214 and / or American Welding Society (AWS) Certification equivalent or above
- Min NACE Level 2 and / or BGAS Grade 1 equivalent or above

**Other qualifications are highly regarded but not essential**:

- Mechanical Inspector / Engineers
- Quality Assurance Engineers
- AICIP or API 510/570 qualified Inspector
- Fireproofing and Insulation Inspectors - CINI and / or ICORR Insulation Level 2
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Methods: MPI & UT
