Swimming Teacher

The City are seeking an experienced access and inclusion qualified swimming instructor to join their team at the Aqua Jetty.
Your role is to teach and supervise participants during swimming lessons, teaching the “Learn to Swim” program and keeping adequate records. You maintain a high level of Workplce Health and Safety at all times and ensure City policies and procedures are adhered to.
You **must** be available to take classes during the following times:
- Mondays 3.30pm - 6pm **and**:
- Wednesday 3.30pm - 6pm.
You have a passion for helping people reach their goals and use your interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and relate to a diverse group of people.
Essential requirements for this position:
- Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent.
- Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teacher of Access and Inclusion
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Current Working with Children Check
You have previous swimming teaching experience and a keen knowledge of related principles and other matters, including emergency procedures.
**What we offer**
You will be paid $60,256 per annum pro-rata, which equates to $30.49 per hour.
