Key activities may include
- Comply with and support of HSE & Quality practices in accordance with company policy.
- Operate forklift to load/unload deliveries and goods movement within store/workshop.
- Check and receipt incoming goods and put in appropriate locations.
- Escalate to Materials Controller material issues such as damage, quality, shortages, delays.
- Pick and package goods for dispatching.
- Pick and package goods ready for production.
- Raising requisitions as required.
- Participate in stock takes and/or cycle counts.
- Liaise with third party logistics companies for pick-up and deliveries.
- Ensure the working environment is always maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Clean & maintain tooling, plant & equipment to ensure proper and safe functioning.
- Attend meetings i.e. visual board and toolbox and be responsible for actions of any matters that arise.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders and customer contacts.
- Comply with and support of continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives.
- Willing to work outside or beyond normal hours to support business requirements.
- Perform other related duties as required to support business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Experience
- Current Driver’s & forklift license.
- Effective organisational, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.

Desirable Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or services warehousing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Currently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden, Overhead Gantry Crane.
