Funfit Kidz Coach

Position Purpose
- As an Active Beginnings Coach, you are responsible for motivating and coaching groups of children in our science backed, coach inspired activities.

You navigate the class through gross motor activities while simultaneously motivating and pushing our members to be the best they can be.

Key Duties & Responsibilities working in a Team as a Coach
- Organise group exercise sessions
- Demonstrate how to carry out various exercises and routines
- Observe clients do exercises and show or tell them correct techniques
- Give alternative exercises during classes for different levels of fitness and skill
- Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programs as needed
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Set up the training area/studio before and pack up equipment after

the session is finished
- Help foster a positive community-based team training environment
- Administer first aid when and if required

Working Conditions
- Travelling to various locations to run and teach classes as the nature of work is remote and not

held in one singular location
- Know how to handle and work with children

Do you have experience or training in:

- Certificate III in Fitness
- Early Childhood or Primary Teaching
- Exercise Physiology
- Exercise science
- Coaching
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Other relevant training

Availability required

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY preferred

**Salary**: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
