Powder Coating Assistant

Duties include:

- Assist in the preparation of materials for powder coating, including cleaning and prepping metal surfaces.
- Help set up and operate powder coating equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols are followed.
- Mix powder coating materials according to specifications, ensuring correct proportions and consistency.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of parts onto the coating line, ensuring even distribution and proper spacing.
- Monitor the powder coating process to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, such as cleaning spray guns and changing filters.
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections, making any necessary touch-ups or rework.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of production activities, including materials usage and inventory levels.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organization in the powder coating area.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Overtime
