**About the Opportunity**:
As the Operations Manager, reporting to the State Manager, this position is an exciting opportunity to advance your career. Your main focuses for this role will include empowering and coaching your team to achieve sales and profit targets, provide effective leadership and development of the teams you are supporting, and proactively coaching your leaders across all facets of the day-to-day venue operations.

**A day in the life of an Operations Manager**:

- Coach and support Venue Managers within your portfolio to achieve sales and monthly profit targets, whilst maintaining budgeted expenses
- Coach and support Venue Managers to ensure customer service standards are maintained in all areas of the venue
- Provide leadership and demonstrate commitment to building a safety conscious culture across all venues
- Develop and monitor Venue Managers ability to ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
- Ensure Venue Managers are following reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure your Venue Managers are leading and driving local marketing initiatives to drive sales and profit and cost targets and developing the business
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Venue Managers to ensure team member satisfaction
- Coach Venue Managers in property presentation and standards of visual merchandising to be well executed

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Demonstrated a sound ability to coach and develop people; as well as impact and influence.
- You have effectively and profitably managed a business within the service industry or effectively held a management position utilising people and commercial skills.
- Multi-unit management skills.
- Operational skills - cellar, bar, food, gaming, wagering, and internal systems.
- Solid understanding of the liquor and gaming legislation relevant to the hospitality industry
- Proven business acumen, computer literacy and financial management.
- Interpersonal and people management skills including the ability to influence
