**What you'll be doing**
The Surgical Bookings Team Leader provides and assists in the coordination of centralised surgical waitlist processes to ensure patients, clients and consumers receive compliant surgical services on time, within their clinical priority and are informed throughout the process.

**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience in managing front line administrative services with capacity to guide and mentor staff and build a cohesive team.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication and negotiation skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of health professionals and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated comprehensive and proven accurate data entry skills with experience in Microsoft Office Applications, databases and ICT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills, exercising confidentiality and sensitivity, with the ability to exercise initiative and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills including the ability to make decisions and create solutions that ensure continuity of service provision.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.

This is a Category ‘B’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015
