One Solution is working with a local government council and is seeking to engage a temporary Land & Property Officer.

The purpose of the role is to oversee and participate in the management of Council’s commercial, residential, cultural, and recreational property portfolio to ensure that the return on properties is maximised, that occupation agreements are

prepared appropriately.

**Job description**:

- relevant local government experience.
- To contribute to the implementation, administration and management of agreements over Reserve Trusts under the Crown Lands Management Act 2016.
- Contribute to the implementation, administration and management of agreements for Council buildings and land under the Local Government Act 1993, Retail Leases Act 1994, Residential Tenancies Act 2010 and Roads Act 1993.

**Essential criteria**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated property management equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in property management or leasing or a related field including preparation and management of leases and licenses.
- Ability to interpret and implement legislation and government policies
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and productively within an organisation and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Holder of a Class C driver’s licence.
