**About the role**
This is a full time opportunity in our 15m - 2 y/o room. You will experience specialist support from a diverse and caring team, as you drive community and family engagement, with children at the heart of your service philosophy.

As the Room Leader role will involve:

- Leading, managing, and motivating appointed room staff to achieve the objectives of the Centre and support staff in their development
- Assisting with the mentoring of permanent and casual employees
- Following an approved curriculum, where you will be a role modeling for children in developing lifelong skills and instilling in them a passion for learning
- Making lessons captivating and enjoyable for individuals and small groups of children
- Delivering consistent high-quality practice of the National Quality Framework
- Ensuring that records are maintained accurately for each child in care

This is a full time opportunity at YMCA Wyndham Vale Early Learning Centre - a 104 place Long Day Care service.

The hourly rate is $29.17 - $30.05.

**Qualifications required**
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Early Childhood / Children’s Services or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Working with Children Card
