Depot Manager

The Role:
CDC NSW is looking for a dynamic, passionate and self-motivated Depot Manager to manage and lead our team at Thornton Depot in Hunter region. The role reports through to the Regional Manager - Hunter Valley Buses and is responsible for the management and monitoring of the depot team to provide efficient and customer focussed services according to the standards and requirements of the commercial contracts with Transport for NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

- Management of staff performance and workforce planning to ensure efficient delivery of services in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Reviewing and updating network scheduling for approved services
- Ensuring compliance with all contract conditions and meeting KPI’s.
- Lead the implementation of company-wide programs
- Managing relationships and communication with external stakeholders such as schools, local authorities and key community groups

About You:

- Previous experience in leadership roles within transport industry highly desirable
- A positive and motivated team player with exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Well organised, able to prioritise and manage projects effectively
- Advance level Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge Specifications:

- Certificate of Transport Management or ability to obtain
- Bus Operator Accreditation Scheme Certificate or ability to obtain
