We have a full-time position available for an experienced Aquatics Trainer - Program & Teacher Development to join our Aquatics team at Sydney Gymnastics & Aquatic Centre (SGAC) at West HQ.

**What does an Aquatics Trainer - Program & Teacher Development do?**

The **Aquatics Trainer - Program & Teacher Development** plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the swimming & water safety teaching standard at SGAC. You will be responsible for training, observing and developing our aquatic program team, ensuring they deliver top-notch teaching/instruction while overseeing program quality and implementing best practices.

**What do you need to be considered?**
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (mínimally TAE40116) - Desirable
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Accreditation
- Working with Children Check
- 5+ Years’ experience in teaching Swimming & Water Safety
- 5+ Years’ Demonstrated Programming, Administration, Training Implementation and delivery
- Broad industry experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the aquatics industry, swimming and child development and technical training requirements from the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO)
- Capacity to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite
- Capacity to effectively use Xplor Recreation Customer Retention Management System (Desirable)
