**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team** based in **Dandenong**. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
- Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up to date
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

**To be successful in the role, you will possess**:

- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (**Diesel Mechanic**).
- Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic
- OEM equipment experience highly regarded
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
