**Medical Receptionist - Casual (with view to Part-Time)**

**What We're Looking For**:
You are someone who:

- Is reliable, organised, and has strong attention to detail

- Communicates clearly and confidently with patients and colleagues
- Is tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and open to learning new systems
- Learns quickly and can adapt to changing priorities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing front desk reception duties, including:

- Greeting and checking in patients
- Processing Private Payments and Medicare claims
- Managing phone calls and appointment bookings
- Supporting the management in daily quality improvement activities
- Coordinating with external healthcare providers, including specialists and allied health professionals
- Collaborating with fellow reception staff to ensure smooth consulting sessions and handover of clinic

**Position Details**:

- 4 Weeks training
- **Hours**: Approximately 12-18 hours per week across 3 days, plus 1 Saturday every 6 weeks (Reviewed after 6 months)
- **Flexibility** to cover planned and unplanned leave
- **Pay**: AWARD Rate (based on experience)
- **Job Type**: Casual, with view to part-time

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year in a medical receptionist or similar customer service role **(required)**:

- Experience using Best Practice software **(Preferred, but not essential—training will be provided)**
