Showroom Sales Consultant

**Hiring Sales & Customer Service Consultants**

We are searching for a customer service and sales consultant who will support customers in their floor purchase journey and provide excellent customer service. Your role will have a strong customer-focus, and you will spend time in the showroom supporting customers in their flooring sales journey.

You will be working 5 or 6 days / week with Saturdays being compulsory.

**We Are Growing Quickly and Need Salespeople NOW**

This is the initial scope of work when you commence in your role. Some duties may change and vary depending on the tasks that need to be completed.
- Explaining and selling various flooring, carpet and tile options to the customer
- Writing quotes and presenting appropriate flooring options
- Measuring customers house and calculating the surface area
- Assessing the current flooring situation
- Effectively handling customer objections and closing sales
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Managing day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.

**Future Opportunities**

We are looking for someone who will grow with us long-term. Here are some possibilities we see as possible:

- You’ll be training and leading new sales consultant employees
- You’ll manage larger commercial customers (home builders, construction companies)
- You’ll take on management responsibilities as a "Showroom Manager”
- You could be the owner of one of FloorVenue's first franchise businesses

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sales and /or face-to-face customer service
- Be extremely polite, well-mannered and well-presented
- Be empathetic and able to build relationships with potential customers
- High attention to detail and diligence with quality of work
- Excellent english and communication abilities
- Ability to learn the trade very quickly
- Possess a valid drivers license

**Highly Valued Characteristics**
- Previous experience in the flooring (timber, laminate, engineered, hybrid) industry
- Computer & technology skills (Microsoft Office, Google Apps, ERPs, CRMs)
- University degree or other higher education qualification
