Installation Lead

Our Technical, Advisory, and Capability (TAC) practice and Team Downer serves as one of the Major Service Providers delivering consulting services and Integrated Work Packages across the Department of Defence, leveraging innovative approaches such as mission and digital engineering to enable the successful delivery of critical Defence programs. This includes engagement with key areas across Defence including Defence Digital Group (DDG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), and the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

We are sourcing **Installation Lead for our Canberra team**with the following experience:

- Drive the Installation Plan, change and release processes whilst striving to improve the end user experience.
- Develop the schedule for the build and installations of systems onboard Navy platforms.
- Responsible for the efficiency of the installation program, identify and implement activities to improve the program quality in support of the FIE.
- During installations, engage with project team, In Service Support Contractors (ISSC), Systems Program Offices’ (SPO), and Support elements.
- Lead multiple platforms for the Installation activities as delegated by Installation manager, Platforms such as ECCPB, OPV, LHD, LSD, AOR, FFH, CCSM and DDG class.

This role is based in **Canberra, ACT**. Our work is **highly complex and confidential**, applicants must be Australian citizens with a minimum **NV1 security clearance.**Additionally, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary. In some cases, this may impose restrictions individuals who are dual citizens, permanent residency, or former nationality of specific countries as outlined in ITAR 126.1.
- Experience working on a large ICT project within Defence.
- Installation and IT Project Management experience in the delivery and support to Defence, especially Navy Platforms.
- Previous Navy experience on installation and transition programs.
- Experience working with Platform SPOs, Group and familiarity of Engineering processes involved in delivering capability to Navy.
- Attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
- Proven stakeholder and relationship management skills.
