Due to increased projects, Downer Group's Gas business have permanent opportunities for **Pipeline** **Patrolmen/ Inspector’s** to join our **Eastern Creek **team. Our contract is responsible for delivering network operations and maintenance, and construction for 3 leading distributors who are the providers to customers located across the metropolitan and Regional network of New South Wales.

In this role, you will be responsible for the effective supervision of a delegated pipeline inspection to ensure the security of the assets assigned. You will be required to permanently monitor sites at the discretion of the Pipeline Security Team as well as Inspection works. Pipeline Patrolling will also be a requirement where the Pipeline route to be driven each work day to ensure the integrity of the pipeline i.e. no excavation works within the pipeline easement unless a permit has been issued along with a pipeline inspector.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Relevant qualifications in the gas industry is desirable.
- Experience within the gas distribution industry is a preferred advantage.
- Relevant pipeline patrolling and inspection training to be provided
- Industry induction (white card) & current driver's licence.
- A strong understanding and commitment to safety.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
