**About the role**

CatholicCare provides a comprehensive range of individual and group programs for those with disability. We are currently seeking two Activity Leaders for our Disability Futures program at Waitara to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of activities as well as provision of direct service to participants.

Our day program is a warm and welcoming environment located in Waitara. You will be working with a supportive team who are incredibly caring and dedicated to their work.

This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity

These are Permanent Part-time opportunities, working 30 hours per week.

**Duties**
- Plan for and deliver program of activities required
- Providing feedback on client's Person-Centred Plan
- Providing a safe environment for participants
- Preparation of reports including incident reports, letters of support and goal progress reports.
- Provide leadership and foster team work to create a positive work environment
- Creative problem solving across multiple programs
- Support the roster development process

**Requirements**:

- Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable people of all ages
- Excellent communication skills
- Certificate III or above in Disability or above with relevant experience
- Have experience supporting or empowering others to achieve personal outcomes
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s licence and insured vehicle
- First aid Certificate (or ability to obtain one before commencing)
- Current Epilepsy Management Certificate (or proof of enrolment into course before commencing)
- Completing a NDIS Worker Check is a requirement of this position
- A working with Children’s check clearance
