Financial Planning

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to deliver budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and analysis that supports corporate financial decisions and continuous improvement activities.

The role is accountable to the Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our new Southbank office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop expert credibility within the Finance community and wider business through effective cause and effect analysis and insight to drive performance; joining findings to formulate one picture of truth.
- Consolidates and compiles the ANZ annual budget, forecasts, and monthly results and presentations for ANZ Executive Leadership Team and Group including AMEA
- Provides financial analysis, including cost efficiencies and effectively communicates ANZ financial performance versus comparatives e.g. budget, forecasts and historical trends
- Creating, updating, and maintaining relevant financial models and detailed forecasts of the organisation’s future operations
- Partners and liaise with the Support Function Business Partners and GM of Finance - GBUs to drive accurate reporting and analysis of their business results and performance against comparatives e.g., budgets, forecasts, and historical trends

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will be experienced with working on process design and re-engineering of budgeting/forecasting and monthly reporting. You will have sound technical skills in accounting and finance and have worked within complex, matrix styled organisations and changing environments.

You will have excellent financial acumen and able to make sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. You are able ensure accountability and able to drive results, whilst working collaboratively with others.
