To be successful, you will:

- Have demonstrated expertise in AI governance and ethics, including privacy-by-design, bias mitigation, transparency and human-in-the-loop oversight.
- Have a proven track record of leading initiatives from discovery through pilot to scaled rollout, including benefits realisation and capability uplift.
- Be skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
- Be able to work independently and exercise sound judgement under limited direction.

- The **Office for Artificial Intelligence (OAI)** is a newly established office within the Department of Treasury and Finance. The OAI leads the development of South Australia’s AI strategy, policy and governance frameworks, and supports agencies to adopt AI responsibly and effectively. This is a high-impact team working at the forefront of digital innovation in government.
