**The opportunity**

Our practice provides comprehensive support through all stages of project development, including initial planning, financing, construction, and operation. Our team works with clients in securing funding through various financial instruments and navigating complex financial transactions. By combining deep industry knowledge with a global perspective, our Project Development and Finance Practice helps clients successfully bring projects to fruition, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

**Key responsibilities**
- Acting for top tier lenders and sponsors in connection with project, corporate and acquisition financing mandates in the energy infrastructure and resources sectors.
- Assist the closure of project, corporate and acquisition financing transactions.
- Supporting the coordination of internal teams across the White & Case global offices to achieve closure of project, corporate and acquisition financing transactions.
- Managing external counsels in respect of local jurisdiction legal issues to achieve closure of project, corporate and acquisition financing transactions.
- Managing small teams to provide timely assistance/advice to White & Case top tier lender and sponsor clients.

**The skills and attributes we are looking for**
- Admission in Australia or Common Law jurisdiction
- PQE 2-4
- Experience in general banking finance, broad exposure preferable consisting of a
- combination of, project, corporate and acquisition finance, syndicated and bilateral financings (both secured and unsecured)
- A good knowledge of international finance law and the analytical skill to navigate the contractual intricacies of complex, cross-border transactions.
- is highly organized and deadline focused.
