Linsell Lodge Aged Care Centre offers a supportive lifestyle in a community setting. Our home is designed with residents’ comfort, security and sense of belonging in mind. Conveniently located, the centre is close to public transport, the Arndale shopping centre and other local services.

We are looking for a Casual Cleaner to join our friendly and dedicated team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of this role it to ensure that the presentation and delivery of the home services is to a high standard of hygiene and is operating in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
- Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules
- Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
- Safe storage and use of cleaning agents
- Participates in infection control program
- Contributes to a safe environment when undertaking duties, ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways
- Report any items that need to have repairs or maintenance

ABOUT YOU
- An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
- You genuinely enjoy elderly people and want to make a difference in their lives
- Excellent customer service
- A flexible and enthusiastic attitude towards undertaking a variety of tasks
- Work well in a team environment
- Understanding of WHS, chemical handling, manual handling and infection control principles
- National NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Previous aged care experience will be well regarded
