Head Baker

Layers Bakery is now looking for a passionate and reliable Head Baker to join our small familial bakery.

We are a small artisan Bakery located in Subiaco. Everything is made in house from scratch including sourdough bread, pastries, cakes, pies..

**Qualification & Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years or more verifiable work experience as baker and 1 year as head baker
- Experience in sourdough & hand molding bread essential
- Must have a genuine enthusiasm for baking and creating
- Be punctual, reliable, highly organized and detail-oriented

**Tasks & Responsabilities**
- Plan, schedule and supervise bakery production.
- Daily production, baking and preparing of bakery products
- Product testing, menu development and produce/ ingredient sourcing
- Ordering of stock, stock organisation and rotation
- Maintaining quality and quantity control in accordance with established standard

Full time

5 day working week (Tuesday - Saturday)

All applicants will need access to reliable transport as we do start early (3:00 am)
