Do you want to start a career in Early Education? We are offering a part-time Traineeship for an enthusiastic applicant at our beautiful Wanneroo centre. The successful applicant will be able to study towards a Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care while being trained on the job. If you are interested in learning how to provide an educational play-based program and support the development of our 0-5 year age group, then this is the role for you

On-the-job training and study time are provided during the Traineeship contract and the Traineeship involves working Monday-Friday each week, while studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care over a 2-year period (maximum contract timeframe).

- Must be able to read upside down, back to front and be prepared for several interruptions with questions such as “Why are caterpillars always so hungry?”
- Be prepared to perform loud songs and dance whilst being laughed at by children under 6
- Be an expert at preparing and serving imaginary snacks and ensuring that the pretend pot of tea is not too hot
- Prior experience in the distribution of cozy hugs (essential)
- Be able to count tiny heads in quick succession can you count to 25? You’ve got this
- Able to breathe fire like a dragon, flap your wings like a fairy and roar like a tiger.
- Not afraid to get messy and have FUN

To be eligible for a Traineeship with us, you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma Qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based Certificate other than in Childcare will still be eligible and are encouraged to apply
