At Relevance, we help companies build their AI workforce - teams of autonomous, reasoning agents powered by LLMs. These multi-agent systems are able to automate complex, dynamic jobs end to end.

We have thousands of passionate builders that use our platform to create AI agents and tools. We also use our platform to create complex agents for enterprise customers who are building their internal AI workforces.

Our team has grown significantly and we’re now looking for a **Tech Lead / Engineering Manager** to work alongside the Director of Engineering in providing direct engineering leadership, coaching, and mentoring for the team.

**This role requires managing software engineers**.

**What you'll do**:

- ** Mentor, grow, and lead your team**: Prioritise action and be responsive to the fast-changing AI environment. You put people and team culture front and centre, and are motivated by supporting the success and growth of your team. You’ll be there alongside your team, tackling the challenges and opportunities together, coaching your people to grow and succeed in this dynamic environment.
- ** Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate**: We’re a small (but growing) team Work with sales, product, design, and marketing to translate complex AI-driven solutions into impactful features that delight our users.
- ** Build something new**: This is a green field product - no one has built something like this before. Not only that, the team is still coalescing, and establishing its norms and ways of working. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas to the AI agent space, and help shape an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
- ** Get hands-on**: Lead your team by example, balancing your time across management and individual contributions. You might be delivering features for users, and/or infrastructure and process improvements for the team.

**It’s a bonus if you have**:

- ** Experience in high-growth environments**: We want someone who has been there and done that. You’ve been part of fast-paced environments and scaling products in rapidly growing startups
- ** Passion about AI**: Familiarity with AI/ML products is a bonus. Even if you’re not an AI expert, you’re excited about learning and shaping the future of AI-powered tools.
- ** Worked with enterprise customers**: you know how to build for the complex needs of enterprise. You might have hands-on experience with enterprise compliance frameworks (like SOC2), or in setting up role-based access controls, or in evaluating when to buy/build for provisioning and deployment.
- ** Expertise with any of the following**: Node/TypeScript, Vue.js, Express, NoSQL/SQL data stores, AWS.
