**Role Description**:

- Working with the CSO to draft due diligence on portfolio companies.
- Analyse and improve current internal ESG database management, where Excel and VBA proficiency are essential.
- Helping the firm’s client service team to develop a more efficient sustainability reporting workflow.
- Assisting the investor relations team with marketing queries and Requests for Proposal.
- Aiding the CSO in engagement with clients on organisational shortcomings.
- Aiding the CSO in enhancing voting and reporting objectives, streamline voting procedures and workflow, and take a key role in their implementation.
- Building and maintaining a database of the firm’s voting activity for client reporting purposes.
- Aiding the CSO in ensuring the implementation of the firm’s sustainability policy.

The role will provide an opportunity to work closely with the firm’s team of investment analysts to further develop the knowledge and skills across areas of sustainability research, while also working closely with our client service and marketing team.

**Skills/experience required**:
A passion for sustainable investing
- Three to five years’ experience working within either the asset management, sustainability research, or investment consulting industries.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in a numerate discipline), post graduate qualifications such as the CFA Certificate in Sustainable investing are also welcomed.
- Detailed understanding of European market regulations as it pertains to sustainability e.g. Article 8, Principal Adverse Impact indicators, Taskforce for Climate Related Disclosures, Sustainability Accounting Standards.
- An understanding of climate transition and physical risk models.
- High proficiency in excel and visual basic. A working knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI ESG Research Manager, Tableau, and python is desirable but not essential.
- Hard working and excellent at managing tight deadlines.
- Self-sufficient and willing to work across multiple time zones and remotely.
- English is the working language of the company and therefore high proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in Chinese, Japanese or Korean will be viewed favourably.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $111,000.00 per year
