**The Role**:
We are looking for a hands-on Porter to join our team living on the beautiful Rottnest Island. Your main duties will involve emptying bins, luggage pick up and delivery and guest transfers. You will also assist with repairs and maintenance to facilities, grounds maintenance, some renovation work and irrigation and waste management.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Available to work a flexible roster across Monday to Sunday as required
- Fit and energetic
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- A focus on providing excellent customer service at all times
- Experience in accommodation or commercial maintenance including renovations
- Previous trade employment or handyman skills, plus gardening/groundskeeping knowledge
- Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques and WHS awareness.
- A current valid (manual) driver’s licence is essential..

- This position involves extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery. Please advise at interview stage if there anything that you can think of that would prevent you from performing these inherent requirements of the role_
