Riskand Assurance Specialist

**The Role & Project**

This is a combined
**Perth Office based** role as well as
**On-Site audits** - The Risk and Assurance Specialist supports the Risk and Compliance Superintendent in maintaining the MACA Management System and Corporate assurance program across MACA Ltd. This role provides ongoing support to projects and corporate departments in adhering to legislation, Client and MACA requirements.

This role will involve regular site travel to complete audits. Timeframes will range from overnight to 3 nights on average - with some major audits taking longer. You will have a very interesting and varied work life with 14 mine sites in WA, as well as 9 civils projects and several infrastructure work scopes in the Kimberly. If you wanted to get away from the repetitive grind of site work but did not want to be stuck behind a desk in Perth, this is the perfect blend or conditions for you

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Tertiary WHS qualifications
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Previous experience in the mining and/or civil industries
- Strong safety background
- Lead Auditor qualifications
- Experience in facilitating risk management workshops
- Sound knowledge in WHS legislation
- Previous experience in a corporate HSEQ team
- Technical writing skills
