We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Roadworthy Officer** to join our team and ensure that vehicles meet all safety, compliance, and roadworthiness standards. As a **Roadworthy Officer,** you will play a key role in inspecting, assessing, and certifying vehicles, helping to maintain road safety and environmental standards.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess mechanical condition and compliance with relevant roadworthy standards.
- Identify and report faults, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
- Issue roadworthy certificates or detailed reports of required repairs.
- Maintain accurate and complete inspection records.
- Stay updated with changes in legislation and road safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with vehicle owners.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in vehicle inspections or automotive/mechanical roles.
- Holds an Inspection license to conduct road worthy inspections under the AIS scheme in QLD
- Certified/licensed to issue roadworthy certificates (as required in your jurisdiction).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, safety regulations, and inspection criteria.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
