Part-Time Youth Worker

Berkeley Neighbourhood Centre Incorporated (BNCI) seeks to employ a dynamic, experienced and suitably qualified Youth Worker to assist in facilitating and supporting preventative programs for young people (11-24) to reduce the incidence and prevalence of behaviors that put young people at risk.

We are looking for someone who can:

- Demonstrate ability in facilitating activities and programs to young people (11-24)
- Demonstrate ability to make appropriate referrals
- Demonstrate ability to write reports and keep precise work documents
- Proven ability to work individually and within a team environment
- Proven knowledge of Child Protection Act 1998

The position is 12 hours per week to ongoing funding. This position is paid at SCHADS Award Level 3.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $37.35 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
