We are seeking friendly, flexible and caring team members to provide high care support to a male customer who lives in Kardinya and enable him to continue living in his family home.

Our customer responds best to people who are confident, manage time well and have a bubbly personality. He has a great sense of humour, enjoys great conversation and an occasional banter with his family. He feels most secure when he has a clear routine supported by a familiar team of caring people.

Flexible availability to work a range of shifts across the whole week and specifically able to morning shifts from 7am -7pm on weekdays and on weekends from 8.30am - 7pm.

**There's no 'typical day' but it may include...**.
- Domestic and household assistance
- Personal care including dressing, showering and personal hygiene
- Attend social activities and attend appointments using the customers van
- A range of clinical care & skills required - bowel care, catheter care and quad coughs (all training provided)
- Providing reliable, timely and flexible services that best meet the needs of the individual and their family
- Problem solving issues with the person and/or their family, and the team
- Regular communication with local team and participation in team meetings

**What we require**:

- Previous support work experience in Disability is desirable
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Ability to problem solve, think creatively and find innovative solutions
- Competent using of a Smart Phone and Apps
- Availability to attend mandatory and paid training during the week
- ** A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle**:

- ** A NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one**

- An hourly rate starting from $30.46 per hour plus super and afternoon/evening shift loading, weekend penalties and all leave accruals
